Summary Report:
1. Happy Preservation Month! https://savingplaces.org/stories/preservation-month-2023
2. The Transit Hub plans are tentatively planned to be approved by City Council in May.
3. The EDA is discussing bringing back the Fa?ade Improvement Grant next year.
4. The City Council will have a work session on the riverfront and downtown development on May 9th.
5. The Arts and Culture Commission will be hosting a Public Art Review Committees (PARC) in the coming months for public art projects in downtown for Artists on Main Street.
6. Staff are working with a class at Carleton College to do a historic preservation StoryMap.
7. The City is working with Barr Engineering on a Feasibility Report to explore options for the Ames Mill Dam. More information will be presented in the coming months.
8. All properties within the Historic District are eligible to apply for funding through the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation's Main Street Grant program. The application closes on May 1st. More information is available at: https://www.northfieldmn.gov/1562/Main-Street-Grant
