Body
Action Requested:
Members of all City boards and commission are being asked to watch the 2024 State of the City video if they were unable to attend in person on Tuesday March 19, 2024.
Summary Report:
Members of all City boards and commission are being asked to watch the 2024 State of the City video if you were unable to attend in person on Tuesday March 19, 2024.
All members of City of Northfield boards and commissions are strongly encouraged to attend each year as part of your roles. The State of the City provides a wholistic overview of almost everything that the city has been working on over the past year.
While most of us are focused on our individual topic areas for our boards and commissions, having a broader understanding of what we’ve accomplished, what we’re working on, and where we are going helps us all partner and collaborate better. We are all a part of the broader city organizational mission and vision.
The State of the City is also an opportunity to build relationships outside of our formal meeting structure, celebrate our accomplishments and honor the people that are working hard to move our city and community forward.
Any members who were unable to attend the State of the City are being asked to watch the video (attachment 1) from the event. The program from the event is also attached (attachment 2).
If you have any feedback from the State of the City, please reach out to Communications/HR Director Michelle Mahowald (michelle.mahowald@northfieldmn.gov <mailto:michelle.mahowald@northfieldmn.gov>).
