Summary Report:
In preparation for the 2024 board and commission appointment process, the Human Rights Commission (HRC) will receive an update on the current board and commission appointment process and timeline, members up for reappointment, and members who are no longer eligible for reappointment (if applicable).
The following Human Rights Commission members’ terms expire on December 31, 2023:
Jennie Autonoe Appointed 2021 (1st Term)
Bruce Morland Appointed 2021 (1st Term)
The following Human Rights Commission members have reached their term limit:
None
In addition, the Human Rights Commission has a vacant full term, expiring December 31, 2026.
Board and commission members with expiring terms have been notified via email and mail of their status. The application process officially begins on July 1, 2023 but members are welcome to apply at any time. The application can be found online at <https://weblink.ci.northfield.mn.us/Forms/BCApplication> or a paper copy can be obtained at City Hall in the Administration office.
If a member chooses not to apply for reappointment, please let the Administration department and board/commission staff liaison know as soon as possible.
