Approve miscellaneous/concessions license for Northfield Youth Baseball Association at Sechler Park.

Action Requested:

The Northfield City Council approves the miscellaneous/concessions license for the Northfield Youth Baseball Association to operate a concession stand at the Sechler Park Baseball Complex subject to the following conditions:

                     Submission of all final documents

                     Payment of electrical usage fees

                     Applicant is responsible for picking up and proper disposal of trash

                     Applicant is responsible to ensure compliance with all local and state regulations

                     Non-compliance with conditions will result in the license being revoked

 

Summary Report:

The City Council is being asked to approve a miscellaneous concessions license for the Northfield Youth Baseball Association to operate a concessions stand at the Sechler Park Baseball Complex. Section 14-1 of the Northfield Ordinance Code states that it is unlawful for any person to operate a business on any property owned or controlled by the City without a license issued by the City Council. The concessions license fee is $125. Staff has reviewed the request and recommends approval with the conditions noted above.
