Summary Report:
The City Council is asked to approve the summary publication of the ordinance. The City Council approved the first reading of the ordinance on January 4, 2022. The second reading is a separate item on the Consent Agenda.
Alternative Options:
The City Council could direct staff to publish the entire ordinance.
Financial Impacts:
The cost to publish the entire ordinance would be approximately four times more than the cost to publish the summary.
Tentative Timelines:
If approved, the summary is proposed to be published on January 26, 2022. The ordinance would then be effective 30 days after publishing.
