Action Requested:
The HRC finalizes plans for the 2022 MLK celebration.
Summary Report:
The HRC typically plans and hosts a celebration on Martin Luther King Day each year. The HRC appointed a subcommittee to plan for the 2022 celebration: Wornson, Eubank, Valdecantos, Abdullahi, Gonzalez Miron. They will report to the full HRC on work to date and finalize plans.
The Human Rights Award will be presented to Dr. Matt Hillmann for his work with Latina Mothers group. City Communications Coordinator is ordering plaque.

There are some funds allocated to 2022 budget to pay speaker honorarium if needed.
