Action Requested:
The HRC discusses ideas for and assigns a subcommittee to work on 2022 MLK celebration.
Summary Report:
The HRC typically plans and hosts a celebration on Martin Luther King Day each year. A copy of the program from 2020 is attached for reference. The HRC is asked to discuss the following:
• Theme
• Speaker ideas
• Online/In-person, wait to decide?
• Any other general thoughts/suggestions
The HRC is asked to create a subcommittee to work on this and bring a proposal back to the HRC at the December meeting. Staff can provide support on online platform and communications.

There are some funds allocated to 2022 budget to pay speakers.
