The Council Employment Policy Committee discussed and made a motion to recommend approval of this policy for City Council approval at their September 22, 2021 meeting.  This policy has been reviewed by the Labor Attorney for input.

This policy was last updated in 2015.  The Wellness Committee, made up of city staff from all departments, establish and carry out wellness related activities throughout the year.  The committee follows the 5 pillars of wellness. Each regular part-time and full-time employee receives $240 each year for wellness related reimbursements.  Human Resources, along with a third party administers an annual flu shot clinic and bio-metrics screening.  Language changes clarify the current policy and procedures for the wellness program.
