Summary Report:
The Northfield City Council has completed the first and second readings of Ordinance No. 1027 ordinance designating the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul & Pacific Railway Depot (Northfield Depot) as a local Heritage Preservation Site.
Alternative Options:
The City Council could direct staff to publish the entire ordinance.
Financial Impacts:
The cost to publish the entire ordinance would be approximately four times more than the cost to publish the summary.
Tentative Timelines:
If approved, the summary is proposed to be published on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. The ordinance would then be effective October 14, 2021.
