The HRC receives an update on community work around moving beyond land acknowledgement statement.
Summary Report:
A group of community members has been meeting to discuss ideas and options for education and actions to help Northfield move the ideals in the land acknowledgement statement to action. Commissioner Valdecantos will give an update on the work of this group and anything where HRC might be involved. This will also include some discussion on planning for Indigenous Peoples Day in October.
