Hispanic Heritage Celebration Update and Tabling

Action Requested:
The HRC will discuss having a presence at the Hispanic Heritage Celebration on September 18, 2021.
Summary Report:
The HRC used some of the funds allocated for community events in the City budget to help support the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Celebration to be held on September 18 from 11 AM - 6 PM at Central Park. The HRC has the option to share information relevant to the community about its work. The City of Northfield will also have a table.
The HRC should discuss:
• Would HRC like a table on its own or share with the City?
• What information to have available?
• Who can commit to setting up, staffing, and taking down the table.
• An alternative to having a table is to do some announcements between some of the entertainment.
