Consider approving designation of City of Northfield polling places for 2021.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves the attached Resolution designating polling locations for 2021.
Summary Report:
A law change in 2017 required municipalities to designate polling places for each election precinct before December 31 of each year. Staff is not anticipating any elections in 2021, however, designation of polling places still needs to be completed prior to December 31. The law allows changes to polling locations if needed. Staff will bring forward a new resolution if changes are needed at a later date. Changes are allowed if there is an emergency or if a polling place becomes unavailable.
