Action Requested:
The Council approves Services Contract with FiftyNorth for Age Friendly Northfield Action Plan Implementation.
Summary Report:
The City of Northfield is designated as an Age Friendly Community as certified by AARP. The City of Northfield has supported this effort and has been presented the attached action plan by AARP.
The City Council approved a final 2020 budget that included a $25,000 allocation for an Outreach Coordinator to match funds of FiftyNorth.
Attached is a recommended services contract approval for consideration by the City. Additionally, there is a February update provided by the Outreach Coordinator. There was some City Council discussion during the budget process related to how race equity goals would be pursued. Some of those strategies are provided in the update and information.

Remove for separate discussion or to consider contract amendments.
Financial Impacts:
$25,000 NCRC Fund budgeted item.
