Summary Report:

At the December 2019 Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) meeting the board asked staff to send a letter to By All Means Graphics.  The letter was to inform the business that their front sign is not compliant.  At the September 19, 2019 meeting the sign permit was denied because the sign did not have a raised boarder and the two-colored background was not approved as part of the subcommittee review.  The letter sent to By All Means Graphics and then forwarded to Bohnhoff is attached.

Jim Bohnhoff, who made the sign, reached out to staff after the letter was sent to the By All Means Graphics owners.  Staff spoke with Bohnhoff and discussed the letter.  Staff recommended Bohnhoff submit an adjusted proposal and meet with a sign review subcommittee the week of February 10, 2020.
