Consider Approving the 2020-2024 Capital Equipment Plan (CEP).

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves the attached resolution adopting the 2020-2024 Capital Equipment Plan (CEP).
Summary Report:
Attached is the Summary of the Capital Equipment Plan. The CEP is a planning tool the City uses to track larger pieces of equipment. The 2020 scheduled equipment replacement is included in the budget for each of the indicated funds. Some of the 2020 purchases will come back to Council for approval due to the purchasing and bid requirements set by our purchasing policy.
A full copy of the CEP organized by funding source is included as Attachment 2.
Financial Impacts:
The CEP is tied to the 2020 budget.
Tentative Timelines:
The CEP will preferably be passed in December to correspond with our 2020 budget.
