Summary
The City Council will receive an update (Attachment 1) from Zach Pruitt, Meleah Follen, Ashley Anderson, Katie Theis and Katie Reed, Northfield Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) on Youth First activities. HCI provides the staffing, administrative and programming objectives related to the Mayor’s Youth Council, Northfield Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention, and Youth on Boards.
The City of Northfield currently has a three-year service contract (Attachment 2) with YouthPrise in partnership with Northfield Healthy Community Initiative for the Northfield Youth Investment Program effective through 2021.
Financial Impacts:
$51,000 for 2019; $52,020 for 2020 and $53,060 for 2021.
