Update from Climate Action Plan Advisory Board.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council receives a presentation from Climate Action Plan Advisory Board (CAPAB).
Summary Report:
The CAPAB has been working closely with consultants from Great Plains Institute (GPI) to draft the Climate Action Plan. A first draft of the plan has been reviewed by CAPAB, EQC and some staff and GPI is in the process of making edits. We anticipate a second draft by August 26th.
Staff and CAPAB are providing updates to Council, EQC, Planning Commission and EDA in August. Public input will be solicited in September though some in-person opportunities and a website comment form. The tentative timeline for Climate Action Plan approval by Council is that Council will receive a presentation on the final version on October 15th and be asked to adopt the plan on November 5th.
The presentation will be sent out in a supplemental memo.
