The Northfield City Council Consider a motion to approve the Grants Policy.
Summary Report:
Please see attached recommended Grants Policy for consideration by the City Council. City Administrator Martig provided a summary of the policy at the last regular Council meeting. However, there was not time available for City Council discussion. City Administrator Martig will provide a brief summary at the meeting.
The Council Finance Policy Subcommittee has been working on reviewing a policy over the course of their last three meetings. This is the most current version that they have reviewed and I have not received any additional input.
Alternative Options:
Propose amendments for discussion and consideration. Referral back to the Council Finance Policy Subcommittee if deemed appropriate.
Financial Impacts:
None.
Tentative Timelines:
The policy would be implemented immediately upon approval.
