Park infrastructure updates/improvements

Action Requested:
The Northfield Park and Recreation Board discusses and prioritizes park updates/improvements.
Summary Report:
City staff has started a list of possible upgrades/improvements at City parks.
1. Ice Arena/Multi-purpose facility
2. Babcock park - bleacher wall, bathroom upgrade and relocate dog park
3. Sechler park - install bathrooms, grinder pumping station, install irrigation and lighting on softball fields and upgrade bathrooms at the picnic shelter
4. Riverside park - bathroom upgrade at the shelter, install sidewalk to shelter and build new pickle ball courts
5. Oddfellows park - bathroom upgrade at the shelter
6. Spring Creek park - build lacrosse fields, additional parking lot and install bathrooms at the picnic shelter
PRAB will start prioritizing these upgrades and other upgrades the group decides are needed.
Alternative Options:
Do not plan for upgrades/improvements at City parks
Financial Impacts:
Additional funding of the Park fund
Tentative Timelines:
5 to 10-year CIP.
