Consider call for Special Meeting on August 8, 2019

SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED:
Staff requests the EDA Board to call for a Special Meeting on August 8, 2019 at 7:30am in Council Chambers to review an initial business subsidy request.
BACKGROUND:
A business subsidy application has been submitted to staff. Following an initial EDA Loan Review Committee meeting on July 17, staff anticipates bring forth an initial scope of the incentives prior to the EDA taking action on a recommendation for during the August 22 Regular Meeting.
Staff will provide an analysis from the City’s Financial Advisor as well as any initial comments from the Committee members.
The Loan Review Committee will reconvene following the Special meeting to provide a recommendation to the EDA Board for the August 22 Board Meeting.
