Consider Direction to Staff on Save the Northfield Depot Agreement Modifications and Land Related Actions for the Transit Hub/Depot Access Drive.

Action Requested:                     

The Northfield City Council is requested to pass a motion to pursue fee title transfer of property from Save the Northfield Depot and explore modifications to the existing agreement.

 

Summary Report:

Staff has been working with the Save the Depot group on potential options related to the City completing improvements to the access road serving the transit hub and depot projects.

 

Staff is developing further the recommendations and will be providing them as a supplemental memo.  We are anticipating options that will lead to approvals on July 23rd which would be concurrent with the current tentative Council bid award date for the construction project.
