Summary Report:

The City Council has discussed for some time looking into alternatives to using the street special assessment bonds for street reconstruction projects.

 

Doug Green of Bakertilly (formerly Springsted Incorporated) will be presenting the discussion on franchise fees as an alternative revenue source.  City staff has been working with them on this report.

 

The second presentation that will come at a future worksession will include revenue estimates and potential impacts that the consumer may see.  Mr. Green and staff are still working on collecting data to estimate and present this information.
