Title
Sign permit for Reunion

Body
SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED:
The HPC is asked to consider granting approval for signage at Reunion restaurant.

BACKGROUND:
The renovation of the former J. Grundy's Rueb 'N' Stein restaurant located in three historic buildings at 501, 503 & 505 Division Street is nearing completion. The project involved a major renovation of the building interior and exterior renovations including:
* Replacing all storefronts with new doors, windows, and light fixtures
* All three storefronts need new paint and repairs done to molding and trim
* Utilize the dumpster area as a street level patio and replace the back deck

The HPC reviewed the updated proposal at its April and May 2018 meetings. Guidance was provided to the developer on replacement windows, colors and lighting. The architect has incorporated the guidance provided by the HPC and the applicant has been granted a Certificate of Appropriateness.

Reunion is now applying for a sign permit. The original proposal was to add a projecting marquis sign on the corner of the building. This has been changed to a single projecting sign on the east face of the center building.
