The Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board approves the butterfly bench at Riverside Park.

Summary Report:

The Park Board asked City staff to check with the City Attorney on the liability of this bench.  The Attorney stated that this bench is not any different from the other benches in parks and said if staff feels this is an appropriate spot for the bench they are good with it.

The Public Art Review Committee (PARC) reviewed and approved the butterfly bench on March 4, 2019.  The committee feels this will be a great addition to Riverside Park.
