Summary Report:

Katie Reed, Coordinator for the Rice County Chemical and Mental Health Coalition at the Northfield Healthy Community Initiative (HCI), will give a presentation about their recent SAMHSA grant award to expand our offerings of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings to the community.

Northfield Beyond the Yellow Ribbon signed a letter of commitment to be a partner in offering MHFA trainings to veterans, their families, and those who serve veterans. There is a specific MHFA training module that is dedicated to raising awareness about the mental health needs of veterans.
