Update on Northfield Hospital Clinic and Birthing Unit Expansion.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council will receive a presentation on the Northfield Hospital & Clinics Expansion Project.
Summary Report:
Northfield Hospital President Steve Underdahl and Chief Operating Officer Jerry Ehn will be in attendance again to give an update to the City Council on the status of the clinic and birthing unit expansion.
The City Council had approved the concept for the clinic and birth center expansion at the meeting on December 11, 2018. The resolution authorizing included language that delegated the authority to the Northfield Hospital and Clinic to “select such professional services as necessary to design and manage the construction of the project.” The professional service has been completed and the next phase to begin designs will be starting soon.
