Action Requested:
The Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board approves the memorial bench at Lashbrook Park.
Summary Report:
The Brodersen Family request approval to have a memorial bench installed at Lashbrook Park in memory of their parents. Their parents lived at 1208 Greenvale for more than 50 years and would like the bench placed near this residence. See attachments for approximate bench location, bench style and memorial plaque. The City of Northfield will order the bench, pour the concrete pad and install the bench.
Alternative Options:
Park and Recreation Advisory Board chooses not to approve the memorial bench.
Financial Impacts:
The Brodersen Family will be paying for the associated cost of the bench and concrete pad.
