The Northfield City Council approves the following board/commission appointments:
Human Rights Commission
* Mar Valdecantos reappointed to the Human Rights Commission for a three-year term ending December 31, 2021
* Jill Watson appointed to the Human Rights Commission for a three-year term ending December 31, 2021
* Freweyni Kaleab appointed to the Human Rights Commission for a three-year term ending December 31, 2021
* Enrique Reyes Dominquez appointed as a voting advisory member to the Human Rights Commission for a one-year term ending December 31, 2019
* Joan Hepburn appointed as a voting advisory member to the Human Rights Commission for a one-year term ending December 31, 2019
* Lucy Gonzalez Miron appointed as voting advisory member to the Human Rights Commission for a one-year term ending December 31, 2019
Library Board
* Margit Zsolnay appointed to the Library Board to fill a vacancy for a term ending December 31, 2019.
Northfield Riverfront Enhancement Advisory Committee
* Peder Jothen, Park & Recreation Advisory Board Representative
Northfield Transportation Advisory Committee
* Lisa Peterson, Chamber of Commerce (to replace Todd Bornhauser)
* Jesse Cashman, Carleton Director of Auxiliary Services
Northfield Convention & Visitors Bureau
* Joel Olson, Northfield Public Schools Student Activities Director, for a one year term ending December 31, 2019 (to replace Jenni Roney).

The City Council is being asked to approve the appointments as noted above. Additional appointments will be forthcoming at future meetings.
