The Northfield Environmental Quality Commission is to discuss a proposed ordinance amendment to Chapter 86 of the City Code related to Weeds.
Summary Report:
EQC members are to discuss a proposed ordinance amendment to Chapter 86 of the City Code related to Weeds. The proposed resolutions are attached including the change to Chapter 86. The changes include adding invasive species to Section 86-1. Additionally, the ordinance amendment will create a prohibited tree list and adds the Amur Cork Tree to the prohibited tree list.
If approved, the City Council would go through the ordinance amendment process.
