Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council is to receive a Presentation regarding clean water-focused events for the “Year of Water” proclamation.
Summary Report:
The Cannon River Watershed Partnership is requesting that the City proclaim 2019 as the “Year of Water” in Northfield. The Environmental Quality Commission approved a motion sending this to the City Council. Kristi Purcell, CRWP’s Executive Director, will present to the City Council on the proclamation. Then the City Council will be requested to consider a resolution proclaiming 2019 as the “Year of Water” in Northfield as part of the consent agenda.
