Consider Adopting the 2018 / Payable 2019 Tax Levy.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council adopts the attached Resolution approving a final levy for the City of Northfield.
Summary Report:
Two final levy resolutions are attached, one with an 4.4% increase and one with a 4.9% increase.
The NCRC, Park Fund, City Facilities Fund, and Vehicle and Equipment Replacement Fund are all the same as 2018 levy amounts.
Alternative Options:
Two options are provided.
This levy was discussed at the Council meeting on November 20th and other meetings prior. Staff is encouraging Councilors to submit any questions or comments on the levy action item by Noon on Monday, December 3rd. In particular, if there are any alternative resolutions we would strongly request contacting the City Administrator by that time in order to prepare for the meeting.
Financial Impacts:
Included in budget presentation and past meetings.
Tentative Timelines:
The final levy must be passed in December for remittance to the County.
