Consider approving designation of City of Northfield polling places for 2019.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council considers approving the attached Resolution designating polling locations for 2019.
Summary Report:
A law change in 2017 requires municipalities to designate polling places for each election precinct before December 31 of each year. There are no elections proposed for 2019. Staff proposes to leave the locations the same as 2018. The law allows changes to polling locations if needed. Staff will bring forward a new resolution if there are any changes needed.

Tentative Timelines:
The law change was effective January 1, 2018. We are required to submit a resolution designating polling locations to Rice and Dakota County before December 31.
