The Northfield City Council considers a Motion to approve the NCRC Senior Center Roof Repair Project Change Order No. 1 and Final Payment for Project FACL 2017-M10.
Summary Report:
Original specifications for the roof replacement included a small allowance for plywood sheathing replacement. After tearing off the old shingles, it was determined that a significant amount of plywood sheathing needed to be replaced. Roof louvers were determined to be a better option than the original ridge venting. Structural repairs were necessary to support the roof trusses over the pool area. Staff agrees with the change order and recommends that it be approved and along with the final payment.
