The Northfield City Council is asked to receive a presentation from Yvettte Marthaler regarding the Rice County Community and Justice Council (RCCJC.)
Summary Report:
Since 2016, stakeholders in the Rice County Criminal Justice system have been working to create a coordinating council to improve processes in the local Criminal Justice system. The Rice County Board of Commissioners passed a resolution in September to officially create the RCCJC.
Yvette Marthaler, Coordinator for the Rice County Treatment Court and the Community and Justice Council, will present an overview of the RCCJC. Later, the Council will be asked to pass a resolution approving Northfield’s participation in the RCCJC.
