Action Requested:
The Northfield Environmental Quality Commission is to consider a Motion proclaiming 2019 as the “Year of Water” in Northfield.
Summary Report:
The Cannon River Watershed Partnership is requesting that the City proclaim 2019 as the “Year of Water” in Northfield. The attached resolution goes into more detail regarding the proclamation. Kevin Strauss, CRWP’s Community Engagement Coordinator will attend the EQC meeting to discuss the proclamation.
If EQC passes a motion related to the Resolution, staff will then bring the resolution to the City Council for consideration.
