The Northfield City Council is being asked to consider the attached resolution approving an off-site gambling premises permit application for the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee to conduct off site gambling activities at the Eagles Club, 304 Water Street, on October 28, 2018.
Summary Report:
The Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee is in the process of applying for a premises permit to conduct off site charitable gambling. Pursuant to Gambling Control Board procedures, part of the process includes obtaining city approval of the premises permit. The off-site gambling premises permit will allow the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee to conduct gambling activities at the Eagles Club, 304 Water Street on October 28, 2018 subject to the rules and regulations of the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. If approved, representatives noted they will be conducting bingo and a raffle. Staff recommends approval.
