The Northfield City Council approves reimbursement of costs for the registration, plane ticket, lodging, transportation and miscellaneous expenses for Mayor Pownell to attend the Women’s Mayors of America - White House Conference on Wednesday, September 19- Friday, September 21, 2018 (Conference date Thursday, September 20, 2018) in the estimated amount of $1,350.
Summary Report:
The City Council is being asked to approve reimbursement costs for attendance at the Women Mayors Of America- White House Conference in Washington, D.C., September 20, 2018. Information regarding the conference is included as an attachment.
City Council Motion M2012-022, adopted on February 6, 2012, requires that all City Council expenditures in excess of $500 in a calendar year are to be brought to the Council for approval. Expenditures and encumbered to-date are $3,924.41.
Financial Impacts:
The estimated conference expenses are $1,350. The Mayor/Council conference, travel & training budget has funds to cover the above costs as noted below:
