Action Requested:

The Northfield City Council approves reimbursement of costs for the registration, lodging, transportation and miscellaneous expenses for Mayor Pownell to attend the National League of Cities City Summit Conference November 7 - 11, 2018 in the estimated amount of $3,000.

 

Summary Report:

The City Council is being asked to approve reimbursement costs for attendance at the National League of Cities City Summit Conference in Los Angeles November 7 - 11, 2018. Information regarding the conferences can be found on the NLC website: <https://citysummit.nlc.org/>.

 

City Council Motion M2012-022, adopted on February 6, 2012, requires that all City Council expenditures in excess of $500 in a calendar year are to be brought to the Council for approval.  Expenditures to-date are $924.41.

 

Financial Impacts:

The estimated conference expenses are $3,000.  The Mayor/Council conference, travel & training budget has funds to cover the above costs as noted below:
