Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves the attached Resolution - Awarding Contract for the NCRC Senior Center Repair Project.
Summary Report:
On June 27, 2018 the City opened bids for the NCRC Senior Center Roof Repair project. The City received two bids for the project. G & V Construction Inc. of Savage, Minnesota was the low bid with an amount of $132,800.00. The other bid was from Builders Institute for $172,000.
Staff recommends awarding the project to G & V Construction Inc. of Savage, Minnesota. It is anticipated that work will begin in August of 2018 and be complete mid September.

None recommended.
Financial Impacts:
The construction cost is under the Architects construction estimate of $134,665 and the project estimate of $180,000 with engineering and contingency.
