Way Park Picnic Patio

Action Requested:
The Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board approves the picnic patio after hearing from the Friends of Way Park.
Summary Report:
The Friends of Way Park submitted a plan for adding a picnic patio to Way Park. If PRAB is open to the Concept, City staff will review costs as part of the 2019 Budget Process. The Friends of Way Park have indicated they will donate money for most of the costs of installation.
Any cost outside of the donations that they have received they will be looking for the City to contribute to the project.
Once estimate is complete, staff will bring these estimates back PRAB for consideration of the City participation amount.
Financial Impacts:
A portion of the patio cost, which would be included in the 2019 budget.
Tentative Timelines:
Planning summer of 2018.
