Action Requested:

The Northfield City Council is being asked to hold a public hearing for On-sale Intoxicating and Sunday Liquor Licenses for Kyoko Properties LLC located at 519 Division Str. S, Northfield.

 

Summary Report:

Kyoko Properties LLC, dba Armory Square Event Center, has applied for On-sale Intoxicating and Sunday Liquor Licenses for 519 Division Str. S, Northfield. The proposed area to be licensed includes the main and lower levels of the building as well as the outdoor space as noted on the attached site plan (attachment 1).  The license/licensed premises is a separate and distinct license and premise from Imminent Brewing.  Staff is scheduled to meet with the applicant on Tuesday, May 15 to review the premises, enclosures and other liquor license requirements. Consideration of approval of the liquor licenses is scheduled following the public hearing.

 

Public hearing notices were mailed to property owners within 350’ of 519 Division Str., S. on April 30, 2018. A copy of the public hearing notice (attachment 2) and map (attachment 3) are attached.  The public hearing notice was also published in the Northfield News on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

If approved, license applications will be sent to the Department of Public Safety, Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division for consideration.
