Action Requested:                     

The Northfield City Council approves reimbursement of costs for the registration, lodging and miscellaneous expenses for Mayor Pownell to attend the League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference June 20 - 22, 2018 in the estimated amount of $870.

 

Summary Report:

The City Council is being asked to approve reimbursement costs for attendance at the League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference in St. Cloud, June 20-22, 2018.  Information regarding the conferences can be found on the LMC website: <https://www.lmc.org/18ac2>.

 

City Council Motion M2012-022, adopted on February 6, 2012, requires that all City Council expenditures in excess of $500 in a calendar year are to be brought to the Council for approval.  Expenditures to-date are $139. 

 

Financial Impacts:                     

The estimated conference expenses are $870.  The Mayor/Council conference, travel & training budget has funds to cover the above costs as noted below:
