BACKGROUND:
At the January 11, 2018 HRA meeting, attending Board Members discussed the possibility of changing the 2018 HRA meetings to the 4th Tuesday of every month at 4:00 pm. Two Board Members were not present for the discussion. It was decided to further discuss the possibility of changing the meeting day and time at the next HRA Board meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Staff and Council Chambers are all available for HRA meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 4:00 PM, with one exception. In December, 2018, the 4th Tuesday of the month falls on the 25th, which is obviously a national holiday. However, since the December meeting is so important for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application, perhaps the meeting could be held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month for December only.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff would recommend that all HRA Board members agree, based upon their availability, to any changes for HRA meeting dates and times.
