Review Bylaws and Election of Officers

Action Requested:
The Heritage Preservation Commission is requested to elect officers for 2018.
Summary Report:
The HPC Bylaws are attached for review and discussion. If any updates are warranted, staff will make the desired changes for approval at a future meeting.
Within the first two meetings of each year, the Commission is to elect a Chair and Vice Chair. Candidates can be nominated and elected at this meeting. The 2017 Chairperson was Jason Menard, and the Vice-Chairperson was Barb Evans.
Alternative Options:
1. The commission could vote to keep current officers.
2. The commission could choose to defer the election to the next meeting.
