Action Requested:
The Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board receives an update on the cost to build a parking lot off Dresden Ave.
Summary Report:
The Park and Recreation Advisory Board has asked to get a price on building a parking lot off Dresden Ave. This parking lot would allow access to the eastern portion of Hauberg Woods. The dimensions of the parking lot are 140’ by 60’ with a 100’ by 26’ driveway.
Currently, 8.73 acres of this land is leased for agriculture. The City receives $1134.90 ($130/acre) per year for this lease and it is valid until April 14, 2018.
Financial Impacts:
To build this parking lot it will cost approximately $53,768.
