Consider Resolution Authorizing Staff Initiation of the City of Northfield Strategic Plan (2018-2020) Action Plan Implementation.

Action Requested:
Staff recommends a motion to approve the Resolution Authorizing Staff Initiation of the Northfield Strategic Plan Summary (2018-2020) Action Plan Implementation.
Summary Report:
The City Council approved the Strategic Plan Report (2018-2020) from the September 19 Council meeting. The report includes a background of the process, strategic plan description, vision statement and mission statement.
Staff has continued to work on the development of the proposed action plans for implementation. Additionally, City Administrator Martig is exploring software tool options to assist on the organization, tracking and reporting of the strategic plan to allow for more effective implementation
The resolution, detailed action plans, and information on implementation will be presented at the October 3rd Council meeting for Council authorization to proceed. The information is in process and will be available in a separate supplemental memo.

Continue the item to another meeting for further review and feedback.
