No action required. If the Planning Commission feels the role of the Planning Commission requires further definition for any of the specific action steps, please provide recommendations and direct staff to coordinate changes with other City of Northfield staff members.
Summary Report:
A copy of the current action plans associated with the approved City Council Strategic Plan are attached for your review. The action plans are developed by staff will be subject to change as each of the strategic initiatives progress. Please note, the Planning Commission is not the lead on any one project, but will be involved in the formulation and adoption of several policies and plans. This is particularly true for any Comprehensive Plan amendment. Staff will work to coordinate plan development amongst the various boards and commissions.
The outstanding LDC items list has remained the same. Tiny houses and housing affordability are in line with the action plan. Tiny houses will be addressed yet this year. The PC will be participating in the update of the parks and trails plan and any other updates to the transportation plan. We will update the street chart during this process.
