The Northfield City Council approves reimbursement of costs for the registration and miscellaneous expenses for Councilor Suzie Nakasian to attend the NLC City Summit, to be held November 15-18, 2017, in the estimated amount of $1,035.
Summary Report:
The City Council is being asked to approve reimbursement costs for attendance at the NLC City Summit, to be held November 15-18, 2017. The registration fee is $635. Anticipated lodging expenses are $400. Information regarding the conference can be found on the NLC website: <http://www.nlc.org/event/city-summit>
City Council Motion M2012-022, adopted on February 6, 2012, requires that all City Council expenditures in excess of $500 in a calendar year are to be brought to the Council for approval. Expenditures to-date are $408.
Financial Impacts:
The estimated conference expenses are $1,035. The Mayor/Council conference, travel & training budget has funds to cover the above costs as noted below:
