The Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board receives an update on Hauberg Woods.
Summary Report:
Peggy Prowe has been in communication with Dakota County about a collaborative effort between the City of Northfield and the County to develop trails and a parking lot on the eastern portion (36 acres) of the park. Dakota County is not interested in Hauberg Woods because the park is too small of an area.
The 36 acres that was donated has never been annexed to the City of Northfield. This property is still in Greenvale Township.
