Action Requested:
The Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board is asked to approve the wording for the plaque to be installed at Lashbrook Park.
Summary Report:
The Friends of Lashbrook Park submitted the wording for the plaque to the Park Board at the June 2017 meeting. Park Board asked that they make a couple changes to the wording. The Friends of Lashbrook have made some changes and they are resubmitting to the Park Board.
Staff supports the wording for the plaque.
The Friends of Lashbrook Park received a $1000 donation form Wes Brown and a $1000 donation from Al Olson that will cover the cost of the bronze plaque.
